I never really understood the hype behind Messina. The times I bought stuff from their shops I was often disappointed.

But then this one came along. And it certainly doesn't disappoint.

Formerly the GOAT before Messina started selling in Woolworths. This might still be my favourite. Because I like chocolate.

A really good double choc ice cream.

The best vanilla ice cream you can buy from supermarkets.

Dulce de Leche is a milk-caramel sort of thing, and I understand that that may not be everyone's preference. Anyway, great texture, strong flavour with no weird aftertaste. 8.5/10

Really strong chocolate, kind of tastes like chocolate mousse or like chocolate cake batter. Big fan.

Really tough/dense though - it bent my spoon.

Maybe Ben & Jerry's is just good at chocolate ice cream. This just tastes like a double choc ice cream, although it says there's other stuff like marshmallow in there but I can't taste it.

This one's been my go-to for a little while. Very comforting.

I dunno about triple caramel I don't think that's how caramel works. Tastes very good. The little bits of chocolate are nice. 8/10

Not as good as the hazelnut flavour you can get at the real Messina shops. Still good.

The ice block version of this is GOAT tier. For whatever reason when they put it in a tub it's just good.

The ice cream itself tastes really good. The crunchy bits of honeycomb are a bit too crunchy. Overall 8/10.

There's four flavours in here but I'm ranking them as one entity. Flavours are vanilla, choc cookies, choc chip cookie dough, and salted caramel. Overall nothing special, but not bad at all. 7/10.

Look. I didn't really like this one. But that doesn't mean it's bad. It's probably good. I just don't like coffee. And that's okay. I think.

Putting this one low just because this is a "premium" vanilla, but there are "budget" vanillas that taste better.

Vanilla custard gelato with dulce de leche. It tastes like custard which I find off-putting. People out there probably love this, but it's not for me.

Didn't like this one. Had to dilute the taste by doing 1 part this to 1 part chocolate ice cream. Took a while to get through the full 2L.

Pretty much just putting this low to remind myself to not buy it. It's not bad, there's just way too much going on. I don't need six different flavours competing for my attention in each scoop.

Would be one of the best if it didn't taste so synthetic. Don't know if they used hazelnut extract or what but it has a very stong, unpleasant aftertaste.

Really really sweet. Synthetic apple flavour with popping candy sprinkled throughout. Taste is fine, it's just too sweet. Also it's this toxic looking green colour which is off-putting.

Just kind of boring. The 'honey' is just sugar syrup. And I guess there's little fake honeycomb pieces in there technically. There's, like, 3 of them.
